I'm Having Sound Quality Issues

1.  Verify that the cable running from the channel A “OUT” position on your player is connected firmly to your amplifier.

2. Take a look at the bass and treble settings on the amplifier. Too much bass can cause periodic distortion and too much treble can cause your music to sound “tinny.” Too little of either can cause the music to sound “flat.” It is recommended that the bass and treble be set at the median point on your amplifier.

3. Next check the impedance button on your player. The impedance should be set to 8 ohms. The impedance button should be clicked in for the 8 ohm setting.

4. If you are still having the same issue it may be necessary to adjust the volume on both the player and your amplifier. If you are getting crackling or distorted sound the ILINK is probably set too loud and may need to be adjusted.

5.  First press the blue “MODE” button on the front of your player. The Channel A light should stay green and the channel B light should go out.

6. Next press and release the down arrow button to begin lowering the volume. The ILINK makes volume changes in very small increments and it may be necessary to press the down arrow button numerous times before a significant change is noticed.

7. Once the volume has been lowered on the ILINK it may be necessary to turn the volume on the amplifier up to compensate for the decreased ILINK player volume.

8.  If your volume is too low, simply reverse the volume change process. If this does not solve your sound quality issue please contact us.

My Music Is Not Playing

1. If the Channel A light is green, music should be playing.  Make sure audio cable is in Channel A OUT.

2. Next, turn the player off and let it sit for about a minute. Then, power the player back on.

3. You’ll want to make sure you amplifier is plugged in and powered on as well.

My Player Is Not Online

1.  If you’re not getting a connection, check to ensure the Ethernet cable is plugged into the Ethernet port on the player and ensure the other end is plugged into an open, numbered port on the correct router.

2. Next, turn the player off and then while holding in the down volume button, turn the player back on.

3. Within 10 seconds, the Channel A Status light should start blinking orange.  If it does not begin to blink orange at any point, the player does not have an active internet connection or the router is not communicating with the player.

4.  At this point, please contact us if you are still having issues.
