Two Factor Authentication is a popular way of adding an extra layer of security to online accounts. As of today, this feature is now available to enable for all Enplug users!
With Two Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled, Enplug users periodically verify their identity using a mobile device. This step makes it harder for hackers to gain access to the account.
We support two verification options for Two Factor Authentication: text message, or authentication app. Initial setup is similar for both options. Each user on the account will need to enable the feature from their User Settings. From there, they’ll be directed through a series of steps to connect their mobile device or app.
Account admins can see at a glance which users on their account have enabled 2FA. Once enabled, it’s shown as an icon next to each user’s name.
