Did you know that one in every four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime? And that every year, more than 3 million children witness domestic violence in their homes? (source) We want to help provide Comfort During Crisis for those families, with our August Spectrio Cares charity project.
Our Oldsmar office is collecting gently used clothing and household items to donate to The Spring’s thrift stores. The proceeds from the stores directly benefit The Spring – a non-profit that offers assistance, safe haven, and services for survivors of domestic violence in the Tampa Bay area.
Our Tulsa office is collecting a variety of items for Domestic Violence Intervention Services (DVIS), a local non-profit whose mission is to rebuild lives affected by domestic violence through advocacy, shelter, counseling, and education. We will be collecting items such as art supplies, diapers and baby items, toiletries, household and kitchen items, sheets, towels, washcloths, and other things found on the DVIS Wish List.
