Industry Leader in Digital Signage Granted Access to 185 Spectra-run Venues Across North America

PHILADELPHIA (January 27, 2020) — Spectra, an industry leader in venue management, hospitality and partnerships, today announced Ping HD, a top provider of full-service digital signage solutions, to be the official preferred digital signage software vendor for the company and its 185 venue management properties.

Through the agreement, Ping HD will top the list to provide any type of customized digital signage application—including digital menu boards, video walls, way finding, touch directories and reader boards—for Spectra properties across North America, including the newly opened Top Chef Quickfire in downtown Philadelphia, where Ping HD deployed multiple displays showing content from Bravo’s “Top Chef”. The install also features an 88’ stretch screen featuring a digital menu board with engaging promotional content.

“As we continually seek to enhance our guest experience and operations across our portfolio of properties, incorporating new, innovative technology is an integral part of that strategy,” Bryan Furey, Spectra’s Senior Vice President of Partnerships, said. “Spectra is proud to partner with the digital signage experts at Ping HD to deliver on that promise to our venue clients and event-goers.”

Tim Goldwater, Director of National Partnerships for Spectra, added: “Our partnership with Ping HD accomplishes two important things: it enhances the front-facing visitor experience, and streamlines some of the behind-the-scenes processes for our teams with its user-friendly platform. We’re excited to see real benefits in our locations.”

Ping HD provides best-in-class digital signage for thousands of facilities, from major league sports stadiums to college campuses, convention centers, and more. Preceding their national partnership with Spectra, Ping HD partnered with Spectra-managed Miami Beach Convention Center in 2018 for its $620 million renovation, delivering custom software and content design for the mammoth project that added 10 new meeting rooms and 263,000 square feet of space. Across the expansive venue, Ping streamlined signage needs by integrating digital signage with booking software and installed full touch-screen applications for visitors to use to quickly find room details and directions.

“This partnership is one that has come together after being a preferred vendor of Spectra for several years now. We’ve had great success working together and to now have a formal partnership re-affirms both Spectra and Ping HD’s commitment to a truly mutually beneficial relationship with a goal of delivering best in class digital signage technology solutions to our clients” Greg Lewis, Partner of Ping HD said.

“Our extensive experience building digital signage solutions for the venue space has allowed us to become the perfect partner for Spectra,” Joe Malouff, Director of Marketing for Ping HD, said. “Our cloud-based solutions help venues take control of their onsite content giving them the ability to quickly transform the event goer experience in real time.
